The BRW SP-H3 Mandolin has the tone bars and f-holes found in the F-Style, but has symetrical points instead of the scroll. The BRW SP-H3 has the same strong resonant tone and good dynamic range that the F-Style mandolin offers. The symmetry of the instrument has an old-world air and a look like a piece of history. Its beautiful headstock shape features gently curving sides that make the perfect pallete for intricate inlays and A-Style tuners. The fingerboard is radiused and features banjo-size frets and a beautiful abbreviated fingerboard extension to facilitate picking in the "sweet spot." The top comes standard with tone-bar bracing and your choice of spruce variety. Backs, sides, and necks are crafted from figured maple. With the availability of a wide selection of wood, colors, bindings, and inlays, you can make a unique instrument that looks and sounds just the way you want.
